With Race Day ticket sales trending ahead of 2025, when all reserved seating sold out, IMS officials anticipate a “historic crowd” for Sunday, May 24. IMS and IndyCar President Doug Boles encourages fans to plan ahead and arrive early for “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.” “Even though IMS parking is sold out, there are still many great options, including our shuttles and one of the great Race Day traditions of parking – and camping – in the yards and driveways of so many Speedway residents,” Boles said in a statement Monday. Alternative options include: Speedway and Neighborhood Parking A significant number of fans have made it a tradition to park in the areas surrounding IMS. Many residents and businesses in Speedway open their yards each year to race fans who need to park, camp, or do both. Bike to the 500 The BodyArmor Flash I.V. Bike to the 500 presented by Central Indiana Cycling offers fans a safe and healthy way to commute to the track on Race Day.
