Lots of uncertainty is tied to fears about surging oil prices with the war in the Middle East. The average for unleaded gas now is more than $5 around the Bay Area, and the cost of crude is up to $110 a barrel. Experts believe the prices could go higher with Kuwait announcing it’s reducing p roduction due to the risk of transporting oil through the Strait of Hormuz. While a lot have pointed out that America doesn’t get a lot of its fuel from the Middle East, what takes place there has a lot of effects on global prices.
