The NAACP Bucks County Branch will host a community Town Hall to explore the role of state leadership in advancing justice, equity, and opportunity across Bucks County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The event will bring together community members, advocates, and leaders for an open conversati on about the policies and decisions that affect everyday life in our communities. The discussion will focus on key issues impacting residents, including public safety, education, civic engagement, and the importance of representation in government. Held during Women’s History Month, the town hall will also recognize the historic leadership of Joanna McClinton, who made history in Pennsylvania as the first woman and first Black woman to serve as Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. “We are honored to welcome Speaker Joanna McClinton to Bucks County during Women’s History Month,” said Adrienne King, President of the NAACP Bucks County Branch. “Her historic leadership reflects the progress that is possible when doors are opened and voices are heard.
