Officials say a driver has been hospitalized after an overnight crash that left an SUV disabled along train tracks in South Philadelphia early Monday. According to officials with SEPTA, a tow truck removed a damaged SUV from the track area along 9000 Bartram Avenue, near a ramp to I-95, just outs ide of the Philadelphia International Airport, at about 3:30 a.m. on Monday. Officials did not immediately say what may have caused the crash, but the driver was taken to the hospital after the crash. The driver’s condition following this incident was not immediately provided by officials. But, SEPTA officials told NBC10 the vehicle was safely removed from the tracks and, as of about 6 a.m. on Monday, there was no service interruptions along SEPTA Airport line.
