At least 1 detained after downtown Indy shooting INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — At least one person was held for questioning after an early morning shooting in downtown Indianapolis, police said. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a report of shots fired near the inter section of East Maryland and South Meridian streets just after 1:30 a.m. Monday.
