Dodgers squander 7run lead in loss to Athletics

THE GAME: The Dodgers blew a seven-run lead in the fourth inning as four of five relievers were charged with runs in an 11-7 loss to the Athletics on Sunday at Mesa, Ariz.
PITCHING REPORT: Left-hander Justin Wrobleski continued his impressive spring by allowing two hits over three scoreless innings
with three strikeouts. “I just feel a little more comfortable, and there is a lot more clarity in what I’m trying to do,” said Wrobleski, who has not allowed a run in six innings over three outings. … Right-hander Kyle Hurt and right-hander Carson Hobbs each gave up a home run to 19-year-old A’s top prospect, Leo De Vries. Hobbs gave up a grand slam to De Vries and was charged with two runs on two hits and a walk over one inning. … Right-hander Paul Gervase had three strikeouts over 1⅓ innings and slapped his glove after striking out De Vries in the seventh of a 7-7 tie. … Hurt, Cam Day, Hobbs and Jordan Weems all gave up multiple runs.
HITTING REPORT: Andy Pages hit his first home run of the spring in the first inning and went 2-for-3. … Alex Call hit his first home run of the spring in the third and added a two-run single in the fourth inning. … Nick Senzel and Ryan Ward each had RBI doubles in the second inning. … In his return to game action following the birth of his first child, Kyle Tucker went 1-for-3 out of the No. 2 spot in the order. Tucker was playing in his first game since Feb. 28 and is now 2-for-10 on the spring. “We still have a couple of weeks left in the spring, so whatever I kind of need (for at-bats), especially when the season starts creeping up on us, we’ll get those in,” Tucker said. Manager Dave Roberts said Tucker will play again on Tuesday.
