Philadelphia Courts warned residents on Saturday of an ongoing text scam that claims to be demanding payment for a toll violation on the PA Turnpike. The texts pretend to be from the Traffic Division of Philadelphia Municipal Court and say that people must pay the fine or “appear in court,” according to officials. Officials are urging people who receive the texts to ignore it and not scan the QR code included in the message.
