ORANGEBURG CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Highway Patrol says a pedestrian was struck and killed in an overnight collision. It happened on US Highway 301 near Dempsey Road at 12:50 a.m. According to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt, the pedestrian was in the roadway, when a 2018 Mazda SUV travelling south struck them. The pedestrian died from their injuries and the Mazda driver wasn’t hurt.
