After shutting down for good, NBC Bay Area learned Wednesday the San Francisco Centre shopping mall is getting a new owner. Local developer Presidio Bay formed a local joint venture with the Prado Group and won the bid to buy the property on Market Street. The mall was once the city’s larges t mall until lenders forced it to shutter in November. The developers still need to close on a deal, and the sale price has not been revealed.
