(BCN) -- Wednesday in the Bay Area calls for cloud cover before gradual clearing across the region, with clear skies at night, according to the National Weather Service. Daytime highs will be mostly in the low to mid 60s on the coast, mid 60s around the bay, and mid to high 60s inland. Overnight lo ws will be mostly in the high 40s to low 50s. Forecasters say a weak cold front moving through the Bay Area on Wednesday could bring brief drizzle or very light rain during the morning commute. According to the NWS, a narrow band of moisture may produce light rain or drizzle early Wednesday morning, though little to no accumulation is expected. The front is expected to pass the Golden Gate around 9 a.m. and clear the Big Sur area by noon, with skies clearing afterward. The main impact will be gusty northwest winds behind the front. Sustained winds of 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph are predicted for the afternoon, with stronger winds along exposed coastal areas. Moderate to strong winds are also expected along the coast and higher terrain through Friday, followed by warmer and drier weather this weekend.
