      COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with a non-fatal stabbing incident, say police. According to officers, Justin A.E. Reyes is accused of stabbing of a 58-year-old man around 6:30 p.m. on Monday night. Officers responded to the March 2, inc ident in the 2700 block of Wheat Street in relation to a disturbance that later got upgraded to a fight in progress. When officers arrived to the scene, they found a man with multiple stab wounds and began first aid before EMS arrived. CPD believes the 58-year-old victim was walking his dog when Reyes started stabbing him unprovoked. Chief W.H. “Skip” Holbrook says Reyes is charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He remains at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. A judge set a $10,000 bond with conditions to not have any direct or indirect contact with the victim.
