The 25th Annual MOMENTUM Exhibition will return March 27–28, 2026 at the The Yale Theater, bringing together some of Oklahoma’s most promising young visual artists for a two-day celebration of creativity, connection and career-building. Hosted by the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition, MOMENTUM shines a spotlight on artists ages 30 and under from across the state. Now in its 25th year, the exhibition has become a launchpad for emerging talent — offering artists the opportunity to create, exhibit and sell their work in a professional setting while building relationships with collectors, curators and new audiences. This year’s exhibition features Guest Curator Kristin Gentry and Emerging Curator MaryAnn Guoladdle Parker. The 2026 Spotlight Artists are Kayla Marie Anley, Mack Brim and Nayelly Morales Rojo, whose work will receive special recognition throughout the weekend. In addition to the visual art on display, MOMENTUM incorporates live performances and interactive experiences designed to expand the traditional gallery format. Printmaking activities will be offered all weekend by the Firehouse Art Center, encouraging hands-on engagement for attendees. The weekend kicks off Friday, March 27, with a 25th Anniversary Celebration from 5:30 to 7 p.m., including a gallery talk with the curators. The main event follows from 7 to 10 p.m., featuring live performances throughout the evening. On Saturday, March 28, Pay What You Can hours run from 1 to 4 p.m., including a low-sensory experience and an artist talk with the curators and Spotlight Artists. The exhibition concludes with a second main event from 7 to 10 p.m., again highlighting live performances. Founded in 1988, OVAC is dedicated to growing and developing Oklahoma’s visual arts community through education, promotion, connection and funding.
