Richmond, Va. (WRIC) -- Today will be dreary and temperatures will be in the low 40s this afternoon. As precipitation persist throughout the afternoon, there is a stronger chance for rain initially, and for that precipitation to transition to rain/snow mix as the afternoon goes on. The further no rth you are, the more likely you will be to see more snow than those further south. Some very light accumulations are possible, but most of us are not expecting to see snow on the ground. The wintry mix will continue through the night. We could see the mix through Tuesday morning, but precipitation is not expected after noon. Tuesday afternoon will end up being okay, with cloudy skies and highs in the low 50s. Tuesday night into Wednesday, isolated showers will be possible.
