The California Interscholastic Federation on Sunday afternoon released the pairings for this year’s state basketball and soccer playoffs. State qualifiers this season include 28 Inland teams: 13 in boys basketball, nine in girls basketball, four in girls soccer and two in boys soccer. This marks t he first season there will be true state championship games in soccer, with the winners of Southern and Northern regionals squaring off.
