AlphaMedia USA LincolnCOWLES–(KFOR Mar. 1)–An earthquake measured at 4.1 on the Richter Scale early Sunday afternoon in south-central Nebraska could be felt as far away as Lincoln. The U.S. Geological Survey says the earthquake was first recorded at 12:59 p.m., about three miles east of Cowles, which is about 40 miles south of Hastings. The depth was around 2 miles and traveled a minimum distance of 86 miles.
