CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WCCB) — It’s Severe Weather Preparedness Week across the Carolinas. Each day this week, the WCCB Charlotte WeatherWise team will focus on a different safety topic — helping you prepare for the hazards that come with severe weather. We’ll cover severe thunderstorms and torna does, flooding, lightning safety and the best ways to create and practice a family safety plan. This Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., the National Weather Service will conduct a statewide tornado drill in North Carolina.
