(CNN)– Artificial Intelligence is causing headaches in the smartphone industry. According to a report from the International Data Corporation, there’s a world-wide shortage of memory chips due to Ai. An increased demand for these components is causing memory chip makers to not have much left over for other electronic items like phones, laptops, and gaming consoles. This lack of equipment is expected to make some phone manufactures to go out of business as well as cause smartphone prices to rocket upward.
