The National Weather Service issued a weather alert at 5:52 p.m. on Wednesday for snow showers until 9 p.m. for Otsego, Delaware and Sullivan counties.“A disorganized line of snow showers will move across the eastern Catskill Mountains this evening and produce brief wind gusts and periods of reduc ed visibilities down to less than a quarter mile. Road temperatures are above freezing across the area and the snow may cool surface temperatures a few degrees, but roads should remain mostly wet. If caught in a heavy snow shower be sure to exercise extra caution while driving.
