FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police is offering a free hands-on safety program aimed at helping students and community members better understand the importance of seat belt use and safe driving habits. According to KSP, the rollover simulator gives participants a firsthand look at what can happen during a crash when a seat belt is not worn. Troopers say the experience is designed to reinforce how one simple decision can save a life. Officials say the program is part of the agency’s broader road safety education efforts, which also focus on distracted driving, impaired driving, and substance abuse awareness. All sessions are led by uniformed state troopers and are available at no cost to schools and community organizations across Kentucky.
