(KRON) -- Traffic was temporarily shut down on I-880 in Oakland due to a woman walking along the center divider brandishing a knife. That's according to the California Highway Patrol which told KRON4 it responded to multiple calls regarding a woman walking on the northbound lanes of the freeway near 7th Street. Officers were eventually able to successfully negotiate with the woman who put the knife back in her pocket and was taken away for medical evaluation.
