FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A 19-year-old man has died following a crash in Fleming County Monday afternoon, according to the Fleming County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say they were called just after 12:30 p.m. to a collision on Beechtree Pike. When crews arrived, both the driver an d a passenger were taken to Fleming County Hospital for treatment. According to the sheriff’s office, the driver, identified as A.J. Farrow, 19, of Flemingsburg, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Officials say the passenger was later transferred by ambulance to UK Medical Center for additional treatment. The extent of the passenger’s injuries has not been released. Deputies say the crash remains under investigation, and additional information is expected to be released as the case moves forward.
