Apex Tool Group is moving its North American corporate office from Sparks to Executive Plaza in Hunt Valley

Apex Tool Group, a large producer of industrial hand and power tools and related products, is moving its North American corporate office from Sparks to Hunt Valley.

ve Plaza 4, part of a four-building, 550,000-square-foot business community at 11350 McCormick Road in Hunt Valley, and plans to move 50 employees there next month.
With 30 locations worldwide, Apex serves multiple markets including aerospace; construction; electronics; industrial; motor vehicle, and the vehicle service industries. It markets some of the leading brands in the tool industry such as Crescent, GEARWRENCH, Cleco, APEX, SATA, and Weller, as well as several private brands for large retailers and industrial distributors.
The lease gives Apex a full floor in Executive Plaza 4. Currently located at 910 Ridgebrook Road in Sparks, Apex plans to house its administrative, accounting, marketing and sales teams there. The space will also include a showroom for its flagship brand, GEARWRENCH, offering customers hands-on interaction with its tools.Danielle Bridge, Leasing Manager for Hill Management, represented the tenant and Alan Grace of CBRE represented the tenant.
“Our first priority was to remain in the greater Hunt Valley-Sparks area because of the proximity to where our employees live and the diverse array of amenities, including restaurants and shopping” said Rob Resler, Senior Vice President of Finance IT for Apex, in a statement. “With our lease expiring, we were searching for a high-profile building in which our employees would love working, as well as an uplifting environment that would maintain peak productivity.”

In recent years, Hill Management has invested in a comprehensive improvement and enhancement strategy at Executive Plaza, focusing on common areas such as the lobbies, elevators and restrooms, as well as new exterior signs and landscaping. The ground floor contains a variety of business and personal amenities including a deli; fitness center; conference rooms; post office; hair salon; convenience store; storage space and a car detailing service.
