Nick Reiner is not receiving financial support from family for his defense in the killings of his parents, Rob and Michele Singer Reiner, according to a report. Reiner, who pleaded not guilty to the fatal stabbings Monday, was represented in court by a public defender. His siblings — Romy and Jake Reiner — are not planning to hire a criminal defense attorney, according to TMZ. “They’re not involved,” a source with direct knowledge told the gossip outlet. High-profile defender Alan Jackson had initially been hired by the family to represent Reiner but abruptly quit in January prior to a court appearance.
