“Making Their Mark” exhibit at NMWA. More than 70 pieces of art from the 20th and 21st centuries are on display at “Making Their Mark: Works from the Shah Garg Collection” at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. The new exhibit is a showcase of paintings, ceramics, beadwork, and more abstract pieces created by influential women artists over the past 80 years (Fri through July 26, $16, free for ages 21 and younger, Downtown).
Jim Gaffigan at the Anthem. If you are looking for some clean humor, snag a ticket to Jim Gaffigan’s stand-up show at the Anthem before it sells out. The actor and comic arrives at the Wharf this weekend to share his inner monologues on parenthood, food, and more topics (Thurs-Sat, $62+, Wharf).
Capital Irish Film Festival. Discover the latest Irish dramas, documentaries, and animations at Capital Irish Film Festival. The Art of the Craft at SOST. Vibe to the sounds of live music, make new friends, taste Black-owned beverages, shop vendors from the Makers Marketplace, and observe a new art installation by Thomas Rogati at SOST.
