Team USA made history in men’s ice hockey on Sunday, striking gold in the Olympic event for the first time since 1980. The United States men’s hockey team defeated Canada in a 2-1 overtime win, scoring gold at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics. They joined the women’s team in becoming champio ns at this year’s Olympics, who won gold earlier that week and back in 2018.
