Your recent editorial, “Taiwan must fix bad Cultural Plaza,” was slanted and failed to mention the other three-quarters of Chinatown (Star-Advertiser, Our View, Feb. 11). I agree Taiwan’s government is to be blamed for the lack of stewardship. However, lets not forget Mayor Rick Blangiardi is the “slumlord” for the other three-quarters of Chinatown. His comments distract from the problem of panhandlers, homeless, drug users and prostitution that have plagued Chinatown for decades.
