2 juveniles killed, 2 hurt in horse-drawn cart crash in Indiana GOSHEN, Ind. (WISH) — Two juveniles were killed and two others seriously injured Friday morning when a pickup collided with a horse-drawn cart, the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office said on social media and in its app. The cras h happened about 8:05 a.m. Friday on State Road 4, west of County Road 37. That’s about a 10-mile west of Goshen, and about a 20-minute drive south of Indiana’s border with Michigan. Deputies think that the westbound pickup struck the rear of the horse-drawn cart. Two juveniles died in the crash, and the other juveniles were taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend. The sheriff’s office did not identify the juveniles or give their ages or genders, and did not provide any additional details on the truck’s occupants. Because the investigation was incomplete on Friday morning, the sheriff’s office said it will release no additional information.
