BEECH GROVE, Ind. (WISH) — Funeral and visitation arrangements have been made to honor the life of fallen Beech Grove Ofc. Brian Elliott. Elliott died Monday after being fatally shot during a disturbance call at a Beech Grove apartment complex. The suspect, 47-year-old Kenneth Johnson, was taken into custody after an hours-long search of the area. Indiana State Police Sgt. John Perrine told News 8 that Elliott’s visitation is set for 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Beech Grove High School. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Monday, also at Beech Grove High School. WIBC reports the school district will have no classes on Monday. Both celebrations of Elliott’s life are open to the public, Perrine says. A procession to Crown Hill Cemetery will follow Monday’s ceremony. Additional details regarding the funeral are expected to be released sometime Thursday or Friday. ...read more read less
