(KRON) -- California Gov. Gavin Newsom was back at it in his self-appointed role as President Donald Trump's troll-in-chief on Wednesday. The governor's press office was one of many social media accounts to poke fun at a post that showed Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. work ing out with Kid Rock. The perplexing montage, which was posted on the secretary's Instagram, showed the two in a variety of workout poses. Kennedy rides an exercise bike without shoes and submerges in a sauna wearing jeans. The video, which is soundtracked by Kid Rock's 1999 single "Bawitdaba," ends with the two sitting in a sauna drinking milk. Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter died in SF from ‘toxic effects of cocaine,’ officials say "Is this after toilet seat #2 or #3?" Newsom's press office tweeted, in an apparent reference to a recent podcast appearance where Kennedy said he "used to snort cocaine off of toilet seats." Newsom's tweet featured a screengrab from the video showing a shirtless, shoeless Kenney riding an exercise bike while a shirtless Kid Rock did pushups in the background. But Newsom's press office, which admittedly reserves a significant amount of bandwidth for trolling Trump, wasn't done there. In a separate tweet Newsom proposed naming a Bay Area rest stop after President Trump. "GIVEN HIS LASTING CONTRIBUTIONS, I, GAVIN C. NEWSOM, GOVERNOR OF THE FREE WORLD, AM EXPLORING RENAMING THE VALLEJO REST STOP IN THE BAY AREA THE DONALD J. TRUMP REST STOP AND RELIEF STATION," Newsom's press office tweeted, mimicking President Trump's signature all-caps style. "DOZY DON'S FRAUD AND WASTE WILL FINALLY BE ADDRESSED! -- GOVERNOR GCN." KRON4 News reached out to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the White House for comment on Gov. Newsom's tweets. We have yet to hear back. ...read more read less
