(Jeff Motz/KFOR News)Lincoln Police on Wednesday said that a 41-year-old woman, whose body was found in a retention pond near 50th and “R” Street on Monday, was also reported missing that same day. LPD says the woman was pronounced dead at the scene late Monday afternoon and LFR helped removed the woman out of the water. According to LPD, a family member called police Monday to report a missing person, but police were unable to publish the report before she was found deceased soon after. An autopsy was conducted Tuesday and the cause of death has been listed as undetermined. The investigation is ongoing. ...read more read less
