LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A 15-year-old was injured in a shooting Wednesday evening in Lexington, according to police. Officers were sent around 5:40 p.m. on Feb. 18, 2026, to the 1000 block of Maywick Drive. When they arrived, they found a juvenile victim who had been shot, police said. The teen was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Detectives are continuing to follow up on leads and are asking residents and businesses in the area to review surveillance camera footage that may assist the investigation.
