LFR Engine No. 7. (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Feb. 18)–A fire early Wednesday morning at a southwest Lincoln home remains under investigation. Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called about 20 minutes after midnight to the scene of a house fire near 8th and Harrison, which is northwest of 9th and Van Dorn. According to LFR, crews arrived and found heavy fire on the backside of the house and in the attic, too. The fire was declared under control shortly after 1am. No reports of any injuries at this time. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but damage estimates are around $200,000.  Two adults, four kids and four pets had to be relocated because of the fire.   ...read more read less
