The NovaCare Complex in South Philly is being renamed as the Philadelphia Eagles announced an expansion of the healthcare partnerships with Jefferson Health and Select Medical under its NovaCare Rehabilitation brand. And, under the expansion, the Eagles will rename their South Philadelphia practi ce facility the Jefferson Heath Training Complex. In a statement on the change, Eagles representatives said that, as part of the multi-year extensions, Jefferson Health will be given the naming rights to the team’s South Philadelphia practice facility – renamed the Jefferson Health Training Complex – and will continue to serve as the patch sponsor of the team’s practice jerseys. NovaCare Rehabilitation will remain as the team’s Official Physical Therapy Partner, the Eagles said. “The expanded collaboration with Jefferson Health and NovaCare Rehabilitation underscores a shared focus on community health, education, access to care, and grassroots initiatives that serve fans and families across the region – from Greater Philadelphia, the Lehigh Valley, South Jersey, and beyond,” the Eagles said in a statement. The facility, home to the Eagles since 2001, features a first-class weight room and cafeteria, practice fields, draft room, workout areas, conference rooms, office space, and serves as the host site for Eagles Training Camp. “The longstanding partnership between the Eagles and Jefferson Health has been built on a shared commitment to the region we serve,” said Don Smolenski, President of the Philadelphia Eagles in a statement. “This multi-year extension marks a defining moment in our partnership – one that will now call the Jefferson Health Training Complex home to the Philadelphia Eagles. We are thrilled to celebrate this moment together and look forward to building upon our joint impact in the community through the core values we share.” As the team’s Official Health System Partner, Eagles officials said that Jefferson Health will collaborate with the Eagles on year-round community initiatives, focusing on health education and screenings, preventive care awareness, and engagement programs aligned with many of the team’s key priorities, such as the Eagles Autism Foundation and the annual “Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer” game. ...read more read less
