On Tuesday at 3:02 a.m. the National Weather Service released a special weather statement until 9:15 a.m. for St. Lawrence, Franklin, Clinton and Essex counties.According to the weather service, “Light snow showers continue across the region this morning, with pockets of freezing drizzle possible. Motorists and pedestrians should remain alert to possible icy surfaces through mid morning, especially elevated road surfaces such as bridges and overpasses, as well as driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots.
