An apartment fire displaced eight people on Monday afternoon in San Jose, according to the fire department. Fire officials said the fire was reported on the second floor of an apartment building located at the 900 block of N 1st Street at around 4:06 p.m. As a result, authorities reported that one person was taken to the hospital and Animal Care Services assisted with their dog.
