Lincoln Police Cruiser (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN—(KFOR Feb. 14)—A man was shot several times in a neighborhood south of downtown Lincoln late Saturday afternoon and police have arrested a suspect in connection to the incident. It was around 4:30pm Saturday when LPD was called to the scene nea r 12th and “E” Street after neighbors reported hearing gunfire.  Officers responded and found a 43-year-old man was shot.  He was taken to a hospital and his injuries are not life threatening. During the investigation, police identified 40 year old Paul Kon as the person responsible for the shooting. Kon was located in the area of S 11th St and D St. and arrested at 8pm Saturday without incident. Kon was taken to jail for first degree assault, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person. ...read more read less
