A person was fatally stabbed Saturday night just before 9:30 p.m. near the 800 block of C Street in Downtown San Diego, according to the San Diego Police Department. The suspect is in custody and it is unknown yet what led up to the stabbing, according to SDPD. The surrounding streets are ex pected to be closed for about four hours while the SDPD Homicide unit investigates. The trolley services will also be impacted. The Orange, Blue, and Silver Lines are expected to be halted for approximately four hours near the Fifth Avenue Station, according to SDPD.
