A man was killed after getting shot while sitting in a car in North Philadelphia on Saturday night, police said. The shooting occurred at around 7:59 p.m. at the 1500 block of West Boston Street, police said. The man, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at 8:21 p.m. at t he hospital, police said. According to Philadelphia Police Inspector DF Pace, said that the man was sitting in the driver’s seat of a blue car when another man walked up to the car with a handgun and fired shots. The victim was shot in the head, according to Pace, who also said that several shell casings were found at the scene. The shooter fled the scene southbound on West Boston Street and remains at large, Pace said. No arrests have been made and no motive has been determined at this time, police said.
