(KRON) -- Milpitas police announced Friday that they arrested a suspect connected to a series of burglaries at religious institutions throughout the city last September. Money and valuable items were taken in the incidents, which turned into a "complex investigation," according to investigators. Police said substantial leads and surveillance footage from community members eventually led them to a 33-year-old Oakley resident who has not yet been identified. "Through a coordinated effort from the start up until the arrest, the suspect was taken into custody on Tuesday and booked into jail on burglary charges" tied to two of the incidents, said police in a social media post.
