Federal investigators shut down adult business off Harry Hines amid investigation

Business at Paris Adult Book Store at 11118 Harry Hines Blvd. came to a full stop Friday after federal investigators moved in as part of a criminal investigation.
Dallas police confirmed that Friday’s raid at Paris Book Store spanned across multiple locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

ccording to DPD, a property in Plano associated with a suspect in the investigation at Paris Adult Book Store was also raided.
Just one day earlier, the City of Dallas obtained a temporary restraining order against Pandora’s Men’s Club Dallas, located in the 10600 block of Harry Hines, related to the ongoing promotion of prostitution and narcotics sales by employees. Dallas police said the business closed in compliance with the order and the building was secured for the duration of the restraining order.
NBC 5 reached out to the adult entertainment club for comment and are waiting for a response.
In a statement Thursday, the Dallas Police Department said its Vice Unit, Human Trafficking Unit and Northwest Prostitution Task Force “continue to aggressively enforce drug and sex crime laws in the Northwest Patrol Division.”
Local business owner Eddie Radoncic expressed concern over the long-standing issues in the neighborhood, including criminal activity and prostitution. Radoncic noted that women and men regularly enter and leave the area, with reports of illegal activity involving sex work.
“It’s very bad,” Radoncic said, adding that he welcomes law enforcement intervention.
“They’re trying to clean up the Harry Hines area. There’s a lot of good businesses,” he said.
While no arrests were announced Friday, Radoncic speculated on the future of the business after learning about the presence of agents from the DOJ and IRS.
“It’s a big deal if the IRS is involved. They might shut it down for good,” he said.
