Rider commit Richie Rosa scored 30 points and St. Peter’s Prep held off Trenton, 60-52, to hand the locals their first loss inside Tornado Alley this season. Aivaye Ingram had 12 of his team-best 19 points in the fourth quarter for the Tornadoes (17-7), who got as close as 39-37 with 2:19 left in the third quarter after Juan Sanchez (15 points) buried a 3-pointer to cap a 9-2 run. Trenton trailed 43-39 entering the fourth quarter, but got no closer than that even though Darryl Young’s swarming defense kept St. Peter’s (20-3) off balance most of the night. ...read more read less
