One person was injured after a car plunged off a hillside Tuesday night in San Jose’s Communications Hill neighborhood. The San Jose Fire Department responded to the incident at 10:07 p.m. in the area of Casselino Drive and Adeline Avenue. Officers arrived on the scene and located the vehicl e on its roof about 100 yards below the road, authorities said. SJFD Urban Search and Rescue arrived to assist and was able to extract the driver, authorities said. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment, authorities added. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
