Lincoln Police Cruiser (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Feb. 11)–A single vehicle crash around 8pm Tuesday in northeast Lincoln damaged a light pole, prompting a street closure for several hours. Lincoln Police Lt. Chris Weber told KFOR News when officers arrived at 51st and Holdrege, they fou nd a vehicle left the road, hit a light pole, which then fell into the street.  Weber says the driver only suffered minor injuries in the crash. Police shut down traffic in the area for most of Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, as Lincoln Electric System crews repaired the street light pole. ...read more read less
