It’s time for the temporary Super Bowl infrastructure at Levi’s Stadium to come down, and clearing it out the right way takes just as much expertise. That’s a job for the NFL Green team. The crews not only take stuff down, but they preserve it to donate to about 50 organizations. “So w e’re out here collecting all of the fantastic material that was put into the sets, into the different components that are needed to run the game and trying to donate them to local charities and nonprofits as best we can,” Sustainable Operations Director Ryan Sclar said Tuesday. Some items are headed to the Santa Clara Unified School District. “All sorts of fence mesh, different kinds of banners that were all along the stadium perimeter,” Sclar said. “They’re going to be re-purposing this into a variety of different things for their parks and rec.
