A New Jersey woman was arrested and charged with assault after using a stun gun to stab a person with autism two weeks ago, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office. Last week, on Feb. 3, a person living with autism told people at their school that they were hurt at home, officia ls said. Police said it was discovered that the victim had marks on their left shoulder and the victim explained that they were stabbed on Jan. 30 with a “stab gun” while trying to leave their home. During a search warrant, police said they found a blue stun gun inside the Clayton home of Yolanda Johnson, 62. Johnson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, endangering a person with a developmental disability and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. She was released from custody on a summons and could face five years in state prison for each charge. ...read more read less
