CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Are you looking to customize a keychain and take a hike on Valentine's Day? Pocahontas State Park rangers are inviting nature lovers to explore local nature while celebrating the holiday. Pocahontas State Park announced it will hold a "Cupid's Carabiners" -- a Val entine's Day-themed event from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14. According to a release, Virginians can customize a carabiner with Cupid and take a short ranger-led hike to learn more about the park and your fellow carabiner crafters. The program is reportedly aimed at those aged 18 and older and often geared toward couples or friends. The trail is an easy-moderate 0.7-mile loop from the Visitor Center.
