HICKORY, N.C. – The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a shooting involving an officer with the Hickory Police Department, the NC SBI said on Facebook. It happened around 10 a.m. Sunday near the St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Hickory.  Police were there condu cting a traffic enforcement event.
