Law enforcement officials said a 30-year-old man was killed early Sunday when the car he was driving plowed through the fence of a home in Philadelphia’s West Mount Airy section. According to police, the driver — who police did not immediately provide further identifying information on — w as killed in a crash that happened at about 3:30 a.m. along the 200 block of Pelham Road in West Mount Airy. Here, officials said, the car came to rest just outside of a home after it was “heavily damaged” when it drove through a fence and onto the property. No one else was immediately reported injured in this incident. Officials did not immediately detail what may have caused this deadly crash.
