Alex Hall and Mac Forehand qualify for Olympic men’s freeski slopestyle final

Park City freeskiers Alex Hall and Mac Forehand qualified for the Olympic men’s slopestyle final on Saturday, finishing in eighth and sixth place, respectively.
Hall’s first run score of 71.63 was good enough to punch his ticket, as was Forehand’s second run score of 74.46.
Norway’s
Birk Ruud, the No. 1 slopestyle skier in the world and 2022 Beijing Games big air gold medalist, won with a score of 81.75. Ruud’s compatriot Tormod Frostad finished in second and Sweden’s Jesper Tjader third.
U.S. skier Konnor Ralph also advanced to Tuesday’s final, finishing in 10th place. Parkite Troy Podmilsak did not advance.
Hall and Forehand will be fifth and seventh up, respectively, on Tuesday. The final will run from 12:30-14:10 p.m. CEST and 4:30-6:10 a.m. MST.
Americans can watch the final live on USA Network. USA Network is also replaying Saturday’s qualifications at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
