(KRON) -- The Berkeley Police Department said it arrested this week one woman in a duo of suspects tied a shooting inside an Adeline Street apartment building in mid-January.

Taurieanah Johnson, 23, of Vista, California, was charged by
the Alameda County District Attorney's Office on Wednesday for several offenses, including burglary, carrying a loaded firearm in public, displaying a firearm in a threatening manner, according to BPD. Johnson was taken into custody by Oakland police on Monday for an unrelated incident.
Berkeley police said that on Jan. 17 at 1:50 a.m., two women forced their way into the victim's fourth floor apartment unit while armed with a handgun. During an argument, police said the suspects tried to follow after the two female victims who then exited into a stairwell.
"Shortly thereafter, the victims returned to the fourth floor by elevator. As the victims were walking to their apartment, the suspects approached the victim’s hallway — leading to another dispute," said Berkeley police. "One of the suspects pointed a handgun at a victim’s head. When the victim pushed the gun away from her face, the suspect backed away from the victim and shot at the victim, missing the victim but striking another person’s apartment."
While running from the building, the suspects fired the handgun once again at the victims and then fled in a "vehicle they strategically staged on Ashby Avenue."
Police did not provide a description of the two other suspects or the getaway vehicle.
"We are thankful that no one was injured during this incident," said BPD in a news release.
Berkeley police said investigators credit Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) technology in assisting with the case.
